Hello, friends:

I can't believe it's the year's end already. This year has flown by, and it's been both incredibly challenging and incredibly rewarding. Of course, the highlight for me was the birth of my daughter, who has filled my life with a joy I can't even begin to describe.

But other highlights were: our November issue, which breathed new life to old pieces, our Writers (and Artist!) of the Month, each of whom I respect, love, and was proud to showcase, our second Pop Culture issue, which ruled... when it comes to Drunk Monkeys, it was a fantastic year. 

Our submissions are completely closed until 1/1, and then only One Perfect Episode, 24 hour turnaround, and Pop Culture will be open. Everything else will open in April; we need a break. 

I wish you all the best this month, whether you're dreading the holidays or are super into them to the point of annoying everyone around you (like me!). We'll catch you in the new year.
